Apr 16, 2026, 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM

City Sprouts Ed Center and Garden, 4002 Seward St, Omaha, NE 68111, USA

About the Event

Learn the concepts and principles of soil health. What are the implications of soil health in the city? How and why to collect soil samples, how to interpret soil health indicators, assess contamination risks, and create an improvement plan.

***All workshops at City Sprouts are "pay what you can" donations. It is important to us that our workshops and events are welcoming and accessible to everyone in our community. Donations help us cover the cost of food, materials, staff time, instructor honorariums etc. When you donate more you are helping to subsidize the cost of others. We have a suggested donation of $5-$10 for lecture style classes and $10-$20 for hands on classes (that have a higher material and prep cost). But don't let $$ stop you from coming, $0 is perfectly ok!
